  Tired decor, thin chairs and a faint musty odour. Friendly earnest staff, but this doesn't make up for the average food. Tasty enough, but lacking the freshness and complexity that's easily found elsewhere.

  Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Eager to get you fed and out the door quickly. Waitress took my plate away before I was finished. Food was average.... Spices were bland and over compensated with salt... Decor needs improvement and they have too many tables that really makes you packed in like sardines. This also contributes to the noise... Very noisy and stressful atmosphere. Do not recommend if looking for a neat traditional experience and good food.

  Punjabi palace 4 years ago was a treat. Great for a quick meal if you are in the neighbourhood and up for the Wednesday special (if it is still running). Though found the takeaway offerings to be all fairly similar in flavour and lacked a punch. Visit if: close by and looking for a quick Indian feed. 3/5 - despite this score a star ahead to its competitors in West End.
